Explore southern Yukon on this 4.5 - 5.5 hour van and walking excursion, all the way to the Bove Island viewpoint on the South Klondike Highway. The island is on one of the Yukon’s largest lakes, Tagish Lake (Windy Arm). The view on the frozen lake and the mountains around it is astonishing!
On the way, we stop for a one-hour walk to Miles Canyon where the Yukon River has carved a canyon through basalt, known for the role it played during the Klondike gold rush of 1898.
We’ll also visit the community of Carcross, on the shore of Bennett Lake, as well as the Carcross desert, known as the smallest desert in the world.
We pick you up in the morning and drop you off in the afternoon/evening at your accommodation downtown. Time for pick up and drop off will depend on the date you choose. Contact us for more details!
