Aurora Borealis is what makes the North so magical and legendary. This physical phenomenon is visible from Whitehorse with a higher than 90% of success for or visit of at least 3 days.
Together, we will be on the move, finding the best location to see the lights that night. We also have the opportunity to build a camp fire to warm up while we wait for the night to ignite!
Your guide has been photographing northern lights for many years and will be happy to teach you a few tricks if you want to take photos yourself.
We pick you up at your accommodation, anywhere in Whitehorse, at 10pm for a return around 2am. We provide hot drinks and snacks.

Join us for either a morning or an afternoon snowshoe hike next to Whitehorse. For approximately 2 hours we make our way through the forest to Miles Canyon where the Yukon River has carved a canyon through basalt and to Canyon City, known for the role it played during the Klondike gold rush of 1898.
This is a great and easy adventure to discover a bit more of the Yukon’s wilderness city and to enjoy the gorgeous winter scenery.
$80 CAD + 5% GST per person, minimum 2 participants. Guide, transportation from and back to Whitehorse, snowshoe rental, snack and hot drinks included.
Explore southern Yukon on this van excursion, all the way to the Bove Island viewpoint on the South Klondike Highway. The island is on one of the Yukon’s largest lakes, Tagish Lake (Winy Arm). The view on the frozen lake and the mountains around it is astonishing! On the way, we stop and visit the community of Carcross, on the shore of Bennett Lake, as well as the Carcross desert, known as the smallest desert in the world.
With a bit of luck, there is enough snow there and we can go tobogganing on the open slopes of the desert!
